After extraordinary participation by the community, drivers have been thanked through Thank My Driver over 5 million times in the US and the 2024 promotion is over. The Compliments don't stop though! If you receive a special thanks, you’ll continue to get Compliments in the Amazon Flex app, which you can view in Your Dashboard.

The Thank My Driver feature has now been used over two million times. This means the $5 promotion has now ended. Starting December 11, and through the end of December, the 1,000 most thanked drivers each day will receive $100 each. In addition, the top seven most-thanked drivers each full week until the end of December (once from Dec. 11-17, Dec. 18-24, and again from Dec. 25-31), will receive $10,000 each. Then, at the end of the month, the seven, most thanked drivers across the full promotional period, which started on December 4, will receive $25,000 plus an additional $25,000 to a charity of their choice (paid by Amazon). If you are not a daily or weekly most thanked driver, you will still receive a Thank My Driver Compliment badge, which you can view in Your Dashboard in the Amazon Flex app.
Program details
Any time a customer in the U.S. says “Alexa, thank my driver” from an Alexa-enabled device, or searches “thank my driver” on Amazon (web or mobile app), the driver who completed their most recent delivery will receive a ‘thank you,’ along with a Compliment in their Amazon Flex app. As an additional way of showing our appreciation this holiday season, starting on December 4 the delivery drivers who receive the first two million ‘thank yous’ will also receive $5 with each ‘thank you’ along with a Thank My Driver Compliment.
Compliment badges can be found in Your Dashboard within the Amazon Flex app, and you will see payment reflected in your weekly Earnings.
Eligibility
The Thank My Driver 2024 holiday promotion is only open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are (i) Amazon Flex delivery partners delivering on or after December 4 through the end of the promotion, and (ii) 21 years of age or older. Void where prohibited by law. Members of the general public, inactive Amazon Flex delivery partners, employees of Amazon.com (http://amazon.com/) Services LLC (“Amazon”), their subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies, and members of their immediate family (spouse and parent, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household, whether or not related, of such employees, are not eligible to participate. Offer is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

How many times can I receive a Thank My Driver Compliment and the additional payments?
When a customer says “Thank my driver,” the driver who completed their most recent delivery will receive a Compliment in their Amazon Flex app. You’re eligible to receive one Thank My Driver Compliment per delivery. Compliment badges are visible in the app under Your Dashboard.

How long will the Thank My Driver promotion last?
The December promotion that includes payments for the most thanked drivers will run through December 31, 2024. After that, you will still be able to receive Thank My Driver Compliments. You can find these by navigating to Your Dashboard in the Amazon Flex app.
What can I do to receive a Thank My Driver Compliment?
Giving a Thank My Driver Compliment is up to the customer. The best way to receive a Compliment is to continue to provide excellent delivery services. I was thanked in person, so why did I not receive payment or a Thank My Driver Compliment badge?
To receive a Thank My Driver Compliment badge and be eligible for the promotion payments, customers in the U.S. must thank their delivery driver for their packages using an Alexa-enabled device (e.g., Echo, Echo Show, Alexa mobile app), or by typing “thank my driver” into the Amazon search bar (web or mobile app).
Payment questions
Where would I see the award payments?
All payments will automatically be part of your earnings, and will be labeled as Thank My Driver. To see your earnings, open the Amazon Flex app and go to the main menu > Earnings. Delivery partners are responsible for any taxes.
When will I get paid?
You will receive your promotional payment on your next payment day. You can check current and past payment details, including when your next payments are scheduled, in the Earnings section of the Amazon Flex app.
What do I do if I did not receive the additional payments?
Payments for the Thank My Driver promotion are only for a limited time, and they are given based on drivers who receive the most ‘thank yous’ within the specified promotional periods (daily, weekly, or promotion duration). If you feel that there is an error in your earnings, please contact Support in the Amazon Flex app by going to the Main Menu > Help > Contact Us or you can email us at amazonflex-support@amazon.com.
