Meet the delivery partner who sees every delivery as a present

Holidays are special for James, since his sons are off from school and there are more opportunities to spend time with them. Leading up to the holidays, James delivers with Amazon Flex, so he has additional money to pay for everyday expenses and presents for his family.

“Amazon Flex has been so helpful in my life without requiring much of my time. It allows me the flexibility to hang out with my kids and still make money on the side,” James said. “I’m happy to have an opportunity to catch up on bills and be able to buy presents.”

To James, each delivery is also an opportunity to brighten someone’s day, just like a present. He recalled one delivery that was particularly special.

“I was delivering a Lego set last winter. It was in a branded box, so I knew exactly what it was,” James said. “As I pulled up to the house, a kid was literally waiting for it out on the steps. He must have been tracking it. He came running up to me and said ‘thank you.’ I felt like I was the one giving him the gift, like I had bought it for him. I love that stuff.”

James plans to continue delivering with Amazon Flex after the holidays. Until then, he’s focused on bringing smiles to his own family.
