Meet the delivery partner who customers thanked the most

Grace is a devoted mom of eight and an active member of her community. She’s also a driver with Amazon Flex who focuses on making a difference with every delivery. That mindset helped Grace earn "thanks” from dozens of Amazon customers, which made her the Amazon Flex winner of the 2022 Alexa, Thank My Driver promotion. In recognition of this achievement, Amazon awarded Grace $10,000 for herself, and $10,000 to a charity of her choice.

“I always think about what someone would appreciate, and I do everything to the best of my abilities,” Grace said. “Winning this recognition means so much to me. The money is a huge positive for my family, and it will help me, my kids, and my community.”

Grace works as a financial services manager at an airport and has delivered with Amazon Flex since 2018 to help build a stronger future for her family.

“I’m doing this all for my kids, as I want them to have a house of their own to grow up in,” Grace said. “I had setbacks previously, and now I’m recuperating from those. I want 2023 to be my year, and this is a fantastic start.”

Grace’s focus on helping people extends beyond her own family. She often supports families in her community by collecting and donating items like toiletries, diapers, and books. It was this work with local non-profits that helped her select which charity would receive the additional $10,000 gift from Amazon.

“I chose the Highline Schools Foundation because I’m a mom above everything, and I know our schools play an important role in helping my kids and other kids do well.”

Grace’s kindness and generosity have made a positive impact on her family, her neighbors, and her community. We join Amazon customers in thanking Grace and all delivery partners who take the extra moment or go the extra mile to make someone’s day a little brighter.

Grace’s top suggestions for delivering smiles

  • Simple things make a big difference. Say “Have a great day!” when you hand the customer their package.
  • Check the delivery notes section of the Amazon Flex app at every stop. There are often helpful instructions from the customer.
  • Deliver in a way that you’d appreciate if you were the customer.
