Education goal: BA in Music

How does delivering with Amazon Flex support your goals?
“Amazon Flex has been an instrumental part of my life. It gives me the flexibility to work toward my degree with offers that range in length and are up front with earnings. I was initially working toward an associate degree but decided I don't want to stop and would like to go on to a bachelor’s degree involving music in some form. Most of all, Amazon Flex as a whole has helped me stay a positive and productive part of my community.”

How does Amazon Flex fit into your schedule?
“My schedule changes day to day. Sometimes I’ll do a block before class, and some days I’ll schedule a block for the afternoon or evening.”

What advice do you have for fellow delivery partners?
“Go to the Learning Portal in the Amazon Flex app to read articles and do the interactive tutorials before your routes. If you need help when you’re delivering, it’s a good idea to contact Support.”

Isaiah from Minnesota

Education goal: BS in Community Health

How does delivering with Amazon Flex support your goals?
“Delivering with Amazon Flex gives me the flexibility and control to prioritize my wellbeing while earning money for my education. I earned a bachelor’s degree in community health this May and plan to become a traveling health educator. I’m the first in my family with a four-year degree!”

How does Amazon Flex fit into your schedule?
“Before I graduated, I delivered on the weekends and between one and four days during the week based on my class schedule. I plan to keep delivering a few times a week.”

What advice do you have for fellow delivery partners?
“Look for blocks that fit around your existing plans. That way, you can continue to prioritize the people and activities that matter most to you.”

Michele from Ohio

Education goal: MS in Clinical Mental Health and MS in Military and Emergency Responder Psychology

How does delivering with Amazon Flex support your goals?
“Delivering with Amazon Flex gave me the resources I needed to re-enroll in college, and the time to volunteer with causes I care about. The money I’ve made with Amazon Flex covered my school enrollment fees, application fees, books, and some lab fees. I also earned enough for a special trip to visit my family.”

How does Amazon Flex fit into your schedule?
“Amazon Flex allows me to do early morning deliveries, so I have the rest of the day to work another job and focus on school. The flexibility also helps me continue to volunteer for veterans organizations, which is very fulfilling.”

What advice do you have for fellow delivery partners?
“When a customer gets their package, they should know it was delivered with care and that you were friendly, thoughtful, and conscientious of their property. You can also put a smile on people’s faces by doing extra little things like picking up a customer’s newspaper in their driveway and bringing it to their door with their package.”

Calvin from Massachusetts

How does delivering with Amazon Flex support your goals?
“Amazon Flex gave me the income and flexibility I needed to leave my fulltime job, so I could focus on my education. I worked as a tax professional for several years, and now I want to take my career to the next level. I know there are more possibilities if I earn an advanced degree, so that’s what I’m doing.”

How does Amazon Flex fit into your schedule?
“I start classes this May, and I plan to deliver whenever I have free time. I deeply appreciate how special it is to work when I want to.”

What advice do you have for fellow delivery partners?
“Use the delivery time to catch up on hobbies, like listening to your favorite podcasts. I usually listen to something from NPR.”

Jamal from Minnesota

How does delivering with Amazon Flex support your goals?
“Amazon Flex gives me peace of mind. It helped me make it through my first year of law school without loans, and I plan to keep delivering with the goal of not taking out any loans for this degree.”

How does Amazon Flex fit into your schedule?
“I can fit deliveries around my class schedule. I also like that I can take time off during finals and then deliver more often when I’m on break.”

What advice do you have for fellow delivery partners?
“Try to stay consistent. The more you deliver, the more confident and comfortable you’ll feel. Also, try to be patient. It can take time to get into a groove.”
