How we ensure you have the right set of packages to successfully deliver

We care deeply about giving you the best possible experience when you are on the road delivering with Amazon Flex. We also know that you want to make the most of your time. A big part of both of these is ensuring that you are able to deliver packages assigned to you safely and within your scheduled block. This means we need to give you the right set of packages to deliver, as well as helpful information for you to get the block done easily. As a result of these efforts, the vast majority of Amazon Flex delivery partners finish their delivery blocks early.
Having the right set of packages
We invest heavily in technology to ensure that you have the right set of packages for your Amazon Flex delivery block. A team of scientists looks at multiple factors when designing routes, such as size and weight of packages, driving distances, the number of deliveries, the number of stops that need to be made, weather and road closures, and more. These all help to determine the right set of packages that appear on each individual delivery route you get. Finally, as always, your safety is our top priority, and we don’t expect you to ever make a delivery if you feel unsafe.
App features to help you get your block done
Another goal for us is that the Amazon Flex app gives you useful information to improve your delivery route experience. Based on feedback, we’ve introduced several features to help you get your block done more easily while you are on the road. This includes displaying an optional driving path to the next stop for easier parking and departures, highlighting buildings to identify your delivery locations, and giving you the ability to adjust how delivery locations are grouped within your route.
Giving feedback for improvements
Your feedback helps us continually enhance the delivery experience for all delivery partners, and we’re constantly improving the Amazon Flex app to provide the features that matter most to you. We listen to you through in-app questions and surveys, and also make it easy to submit feedback directly through the Amazon Flex app. For example, if you spot something on your map that should be updated, tap the flag icon on your map to submit your feedback. Feedback is reviewed daily and we are continually making improvements to the Amazon Flex app, so keep the responses coming!

These efforts mean you can feel confident in completing your delivery blocks safely and efficiently. We will continue to invest in improving Amazon Flex and creating delivery routes that make the most of your time.
