We are always working to improve your experience with Amazon Flex, and are committed to helping you earn extra money by getting delivery blocks that fit your schedule. We know this gets harder if people are not playing by the rules and using bots to grab blocks. This is why we have a dedicated bot prevention team that works to create unhindered access to Amazon Flex offers. As a result of our efforts, in the past six months we have stopped more than 200 million attempts from bots to schedule blocks. This means there are more offers available for delivery partners like you, and it’s easier to schedule a block with Amazon Flex.

Continually improving bot detection and removal so there are more blocks available for you

Our bot detection technology includes advanced AI to help identify and prevent bots, and it is continually learning and improving. We use this technology in several ways. Firstly, to stop bots from grabbing your offers. We do this by blocking bots from accessing the Amazon Flex app, which means there are more blocks available for you. Secondly, we use the technology to help identify bot users so their accounts can be removed. While every case is reviewed by a person, the tools we have built help find suspected bot users faster and remove accounts that we confirm use bots or automated tools.

Confirming only verified users can reserve delivery blocks

Our multi-step verification process continues to evolve and improve. To make sure you are a real person looking to schedule blocks, we have introduced short CAPTCHA puzzles that appear in the offer acceptance screen in the Amazon Flex app if we detect bot-like behavior. If you’re using the Amazon Flex app as intended, you should rarely see CAPTCHAs, and you can continue with Amazon Flex as usual once you solve it.

Protecting your security

Our strong account security and password requirements are designed to protect you by preventing the wrong people from accessing and using your information. This is something we work very hard on as part of our safety commitment to you. You should never share your Amazon credentials with third parties, such as bot companies, as it poses a risk to your privacy and security.

We hope you have noticed the positive impact of our efforts to help you get more blocks by removing bots. We remain committed to investing in this area to continue to improve your experience.
