Amazon Flex Reasonable Suspicion Policy
While delivering with Amazon Flex, Amazon strictly prohibits Amazon Flex delivery partners from being under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Any Amazon Flex delivery partner who is reasonably suspected to be providing delivery services while under the influence of drugs or alcohol will have their account inactivated, during which time they are unable to access the Amazon Flex app. This is to preserve the safety of delivery partners, Amazon customers and community members. If we determine that an Amazon Flex delivery partner was under the influence, it is grounds for immediate termination of the delivery partner’s contract and they are no longer eligible to deliver with Amazon Flex.
Submitting a Report
To help ensure that any violations are identified, any person who reasonably suspects an Amazon Flex delivery partner of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol while providing delivery services may submit a report to Amazon.
- Amazon Flex delivery partners are expected to report reasonable concerns of another Amazon Flex delivery partner using the “Emergency Help” button in the Amazon Flex app or by contacting our Last Mile Emergency Team at (844) 311-0406.
- Amazon employees are expected to report by contacting the Site Manager.
- Customers or community members may report by contacting Customer Services via “Contact Us” or “Message Us” from their account under the customer service page.
Regardless of who submits the report, Amazon will promptly investigate and take appropriate action. Once a determination is made regarding a reported incident of drug or alcohol use, Amazon Flex delivery partners are notified in writing via email.
